Question by Diva V: A question concerning recommendation letters used during job searches?
I currently operate a freelance business with my spouse, where I am in charge of the operational/financial side of things, in addition to a full time job, where I am seeking a promotion into a higher level of management and/or corporate position. I was curious if it would be considered a conflict of interest for my spouse to write a recommendation letter in my favor. Professional answers from the perspective of corporate/upper management preferred.

I would not have the hubby write the letter - it will seem weak/biased.
